Box of 35mm Slides
Khaki-colored Logan metal 35mm transparency storage box labeled "- - 4 - -" with blue Dymo tape, contained 667 35mm transparencies (which I can identify from my log) I shot from Sep. 1985 to Dec. 1986 including once-in-a-lifetime trips and events, and friends who have since passed away. I suppose I should be thankful it was only one box that was lost by Olympic (later Olympia, no longer in business) the company that was doing water damage mitigation and had stored our belongings from Nov. 2000 to Mar. 2001.
Beatles Poster
Visible in one corner of a larger photo, a famous early Beatles poster advertising their appearance at the London Palladium. Based on the small print attributing it to NEMS (Brian Epstein's company), it may have been an original. This is in my Westlake apartment in 1980. It traveled with me at least until our Hayward apartment, and it may have disappeared during the move from Hayward to Sunnyvale in 1992, I'm just not sure. We moved ourselves with some help and it was very chaotic. I had been planning to frame it and bought custom blue aluminum framing for it, which I still have. The poster was mounted on paperboard and probably had an adhesive hanging tab.
