  • Dr. Eleanor Chin

    Dr. Eleanor Chin

We called her "the witch doctor" - she literally saved my life with her unconventional treatment, but she could not save herself from cancer. (photo uncredited).

  • Ralph Gordon

    Ralph Gordon

Ralph was a teddy bear of a man, here at the 1983 Lucasfilm picnic. Neighbor for a year and friend until his 1988 death at 33 from an hereditary cardiovascular defect exacerbated by overwork at ILM. If he'd told me his *other* secret four years before he did, my life would have been very different. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0330533/

  • Alan Thomas, Class of 1982

    Alan Thomas, Class of 1982

Alan shows that he still fits into his letterman jacket! A kind, generous, talented, hard-working, physically fit guy who died in his sleep in his 40s, another reminder to make the most of every day.

  • Dennis Gobets

    Dennis Gobets

Dennis was Production Manager at Apple when I contracted there in 1988-89, and we re-connected in 2011 at one of the casual reunions he co-coordinated for Apple Creative alums. Although we didn't work that closely, he was most welcoming when I arrived which reassured me no end and gave me confidence to attend these events from then on. Whimsical, humorous, extremely talented and creative in many areas, very giving to friends and strangers alike. Heart attack at 58, the evening after Thanksgiving. I wish I knew him better, and I'll endeavor to carry on the memory of his kindness to better my creative pursuits and be kind to others.
