Japan straw art 1950s
More goodies brought home from Japan by my uncle who served in a Marines MASH unit in Korea: Three pieces of hand-cut wheat stalk/straw art on silk with incredible detail. Each piece is 9" x 11" overall, has production labels on the back and are in their original unopened poly sleeves.
The hand-painted peacocks are on white silk, $75 for the pair.
The pagoda on an island in a lake surrounded by mountains scene is on black silk, $25.
