John Lennon's two hardcover mini-books "In His Own Write" and "A Spaniard in the Works" released in 1964 (11th printing) and 1965 (3rd printing) respectively. Both have some cover wear; pages have no marks, tears or foxing. The nearly 60-year-old books overall are in remarkable shape and have no musty odor at all. The writing is absurdist in the style of Lewis Carroll or James Joyce and includes abundant sketches by John. I'm sure it was confusing to many of his young fans, including my late friend who originally bought them when released and gave these to me in the 1970s. - $25 each, both for $40
